Kanika Alagh is a Registered Physical Therapist with over 11 years of experience, dedicated to helping individuals live pain-free, functional lives. Kanika holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, which has been the cornerstone of her advanced training and expertise across a variety of physiotherapy techniques.

Kanika specializes in pelvic health (Levels 1, 2, & 3), TMJ pain therapy (practicing since 2017), spinal manipulation (lumbar spine), acupuncture (Levels 1 & 2), functional dry needling, Graston soft tissue release techniques, Mulligan’s technique, manual therapy, and Kinesio taping. She has also completed introductory vestibular rehabilitation and dizziness management post-concussion with Bernard Tonks.

In addition to being the owner of Lifecare Rehab, Kanika serves as a consultant physiotherapist for post-operative hip and knee replacement patients in a hospital setting. Her dual role allows her to deliver personalized, evidence-based care tailored to meet the unique needs of every client, whether it’s managing chronic pain, aiding recovery from surgery, or improving functional mobility.

Ms. Anagha is a dedicated Resident Physiotherapist with a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy, specializing in crafting individualized, tailor-made treatment plans to address each patient’s unique needs. Her expertise in rehabilitation, combined with evidence-based techniques, enables her to provide personalized care that promotes both short-term recovery and long-term wellness.

She has completed Level 3 Kinesio taping, a therapeutic technique designed to support and stabilize muscles and joints without restricting movement. This technique is particularly beneficial for reducing pain, improving circulation, preventing injuries, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes.

With over a year of experience in neuro-based rehabilitation, Anagha has developed a strong foundation in Bobath Neuro Therapy (also known as Neurodevelopmental Treatment, or NDT). This specialized approach is focused on helping individuals with neurological conditions, particularly those affecting movement and coordination, such as stroke, cerebral palsy, and traumatic brain injury. Bobath therapy promotes optimal motor function, enhances coordination and balance, and improves the overall quality of life for patients.
